Our Therapists

Hi there! I’m Julia.

Welcome to my website. Beginning to look for support can be challenging and taking the first step is a big deal.

About me: I’m a clinical social worker and psychotherapist who specializes in working with Neurodivergent and Twice-Exceptional children, adolescents, and their families. I also work closely with the LGBTQ+ population, and am interested in how Queerness and Neurodiversity overlap.

I received my B.S. in Social Work and Theater from Skidmore College in 2016, and my Masters of Social Work with honors from New York University's Silver School of Social Work in 2017. Some of my advanced training certificates include Child and Family Therapy (NYU and the Play Therapy Association, 2018), Certificate in Meeting the Needs of Twice Exceptional Children (2e Study Center at The Quad, 2019), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Anxiety and OCD (Anxiety Training and NYC CBT, 2021), Foundational Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for Children and Adolescents (Cognitive Behavioral Consultants, 2021), and Mindfulness (NYU 2017, Psychotherapy and Spirituality Institute 2022). I am SIFI certified and have supervised several MSW interns from NYU.

Julia is not accepting new clients until October 2024.
